4/20/06 - Firefighter Jared Hauert graduates from fire academy - The men and women of the Kemah Fire Department congratulate Kemah Firefighter Jared Hauert who graduated from the Fire Academy at College of the Mainland on April 20, 2006.  Hauert joined KFD in early 2005 and is to be commended for his initiative and discipline in working toward his state certification in firefighting.  Jared's positive attitude and hard work make him an extremely valuable asset to the cities of Kemah and Clear Lake Shores. Congratulations Jared.  We are very proud of you!

1/30/06 - Lt. Brent Hahn honored - Kemah Fire Department's Lieutenant Brent Hahn was awarded the Community Service Citizen of the Year award from the North Galveston County Chamber of Commerce.  Kemah Fire Department is very proud of Brent and we thank him for his hard work and constant dedication to public safety.

12/20/05 - Santa in the City - Hundreds of Kemah, Clear Lake Shores, and Lazy bend citizens caught a glimpse of jolly ol' Saint Nick as he made an early trip through Kemah, Clear Lake Shores, and Lazy Bend shortly after dark on the evening of Tuesday, December 20th.  The reindeer were resting up for their big night so the Kemah Fire Department escorted Santa through town.

12/14/05 - Santa in the City - Be on the lookout for jolly ol' Saint Nick as he makes an early trip through Kemah, Clear Lake Shores, and Lazy Bend shortly after dark on the evening of Tuesday, December 20th.  The reindeer are resting up for their big night so the Kemah Fire Department will be escorting Santa through town.  Instead of jingle bells, be sure to listen for horns and sirens - that'll be Santa!!!
